Carol Jean Harrand

Carol Jean Harrand (birth 5-18-34) passed away quietly and peacefully on 2/17/13 at her home with her family by her side. On 12/31/12 Carol and Eugene (Bratz) celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. Carol was a loving wife, mother of two daughters, mother-in-law of two, grandma of three, and great grandma Jamma of two, best friends with Phyllis and many others. She was an avid animal lover, crafter, and collector. In her younger days Carol worked at Ma Bell, Oaks candy store and Jefferies clothing store. She led her daughters PTA, Camp Fire Girls and Sunday school. Carol and family would like to acknowledge the following people for their care and compassion during her illness: Dr. Alzoubi and his staff, RN Julie on 2nd floor of Aurora hospital, Aurora VNA (Bev and Tammy), HomeInstead staff (Rebecca and Wendy) and all of the other caretakers. There will be a private memorial celebrating Carols life on 2/22/13. To help celebrate Carols life a donation in her name to any Humane Society, American Cancer Society or to Firehouse #17 in Oshkosh will be appreciated.
