Carol Theresa Stagg

Carol Stagg of Waupun, passed away peacefully in her home on September 6, 2013. She was born to Adolph and Margaret Emmert in Michigan City, IN on September 6, 1929 and died on her birthday at the age of 84. She completed a full circle by entering this world and leaving on the same day. On September 3, 1949 Carol married her best friend Walter Stagg in Chicago Heights, IL.She loved to travel and served as the copilot on cross- country trips in their RV. She also loved to travel internationally, enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and tending to her roses.Carol will be missed by her loving husband Wally and their four children: Patricia Lewis, Michael (girlfriend Lee Baird) Stagg, Theresa (Rick) Klawitter, Kathy(Jay) Tavs-Wolfgram; ten grand children Kristian (Dave) Prill- Hamilton, Danny Lewis, Tim Lewis Jeff (Cassey) Stagg, Mickey Stagg, Andy Stagg, Justin(Katie) Klawitter, Ryan(Jessica) Klawitter, Jamie(Greg) Dragolovich Stephanie(Grant) Stettler; nine great-grandchildren and their lifelong best friends Kenny and Theresa Helliegel and their family.She is preceded in death by her parents four brothers and two sisters.To honor Carols wishes their will be a private family service.You're thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated during this difficult time.Carol's family would like to thank Agnesian Hospice for all the wonderful care they provided.In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Carols name.
