His care enabled Kitty to continue with some quality of life long after many thought possible.Near her end Kitty wrote these words to share with those she loved. As her sons would say, it is the final Kitty says. These are her words:To my beloved husband Terry, who loved and never failed me, and to my children, gifts of my youth, who grew more precious with time, to my grandchildren who infused my life with great joy, and to my many wonderful friends. Whatever we were to each other we still are. Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the same way you always have. Laugh as we always laughed at the jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, and think of me. Ill be there.
