Cecelia E. Jensen, 80, passed away peacefully at her daughters home in Mosinee on January 18, 2006 in the care of Hospice Services. Cecelia was born on August 19, 1925 in Rosholt a daughter of Thomas and Veronica (Simonis) Windorf. On December 28, 1946 she married Bernhardt Bernie Jensen at St. Adelbert Church in Rosholt. Cecelia and Bernie would spend their life in Oshkosh raising their family. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Cecelia was also a devoted member of the Catholic Knights Society for over 59 years, as well as volunteering in many local projects. She would retire from SNC Manufacturing in Oshkosh.Not one to sit and let life pass her by, she would spend much time traveling, always looking for somewhere new to explore. Highlights in her travels would be much of Europe, as well as New Zealand and Australia.Cecelia truly enjoyed her home on the lake, where she spent her time feeding the birds, tending her gardens, and visiting with her many friends. She had a passion for bowling and reading, spending many joyful hours at both. Cecelia was blessed to have three great grandchildren, who brought her much joy.She is survived by her son, Kenneth Jensen of Oshkosh; three daughters, Kathleen (Ron) Peters of Ocala, FL, Karen Jensen of St. Paul, MN, Kim (Tim) Spoerl of Mosinee; a sister, Lucille Hole of Neenah; two grandchildren, Patrick (Meg) Burns, Jodi ( Matt) Hanson; three great grandchildren, Payton Burns, Nickolas Burns, Corey Burns. Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie; two brothers, Henry and Robert Windorf and a sister, Ruth Pankratz.Funeral services for Cecelia will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2006 at St. Mary Catholic Church (619 Merritt Ave, Oshkosh) with Fr. Robert Stegmann and Sr. Judy Miller officiating. Family and friends may call at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home ? Eastside (402 Waugoo Ave) on Sunday, January 22, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and again at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the service time. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials be made to Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice (333 Pine Ridge Blvd, Wausau, WI 54401).
