Cecilia Marie Wilde

Cecilia M. Wilde, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday October 21, 2008 at Bethel Home. She was born in Milnor, ND on November 28, 1922, daughter of John G. and Nora Clark Nicolai. On December 3, 1960 she married Edwin F. Wilde in Appleton, WI. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1990. Cele was a kind, gentle person who always had time for everyone. Cele loved life and enjoyed hearing about all the adventures of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Cele was a devout Catholic and shared her love of the Lord through her kindness. She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish. She is survived by four daughters, Diane (Herb) Ratzburg of Las Vegas, NV, Yvonne (Dave) Volkman of Oshkosh, Janice Retelle (Beth Kellesvig) of Oshkosh, and Lisa Andrews of Denver, CO; a son, David (Jeannie) Retelle of Madison, WI; a sister, Helen Davis of Oconomowoc, WI; eight grandchildren, Richard, Yvonne, Tim, Angela, Andrew, Elliott, Cecilia and Spencer; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Retelle and Jason Wilde; three brothers, Lawrence, George and David Nicolai, and by a companion, Earl Meixl.A memorial service will be conducted for Cecilia on Saturday October 25, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside with Fr. James Jungenheimer officiating. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials directed to Fr. Carrs Place to Be.The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Bethel Home for all of their wonderful care of Cele.
