Charles Chuck Rakowski

Charles “Chuck” Rakowski, age 74, passed away on Tuesday March 3, 2020 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born to the late Walter and Anne Rakowski on October 4, 1945. Chuck worked at multiple places throughout his life, working as an iron worker at American Welding Co., a door maker and forklift operator for Jeld-Wen, and he delivered food for the elderly with Advocap. He married Jean Rygiewicz on January 29, 1972 and they were together until her passing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley and being with his family and friends.
Chuck is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Brandon) Rakowski; grandchildren, Anthony (Amanda) Spellman-Rakowski, Kimberly Rakowski, and Jaxson Smith; brother, Mike (Sharon) Rakowski; sister, Patty (Danny) Stone; and his companion, Amy Lou Farmer.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Jean; Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Anthony.
A memorial for Charles will be held at Lake View Memorial on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 1PM to 3PM.
