Charles Lyndon Waters

Charles Chuck L. Waters, 77, of Oshkosh, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Vallhaven Care Center. He was born December 10, 1928 in Ripon the son of the late Lyndon and Martha Manthey Waters. On December 6, 1958 he married Carol Weber.He attended grade school and college in Ripon and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in business. While in college he completed the ROTC course graduating as a First Lieutenant. He served his country during the Korean War in the Army Signal Corps.Charles was employed at the Leach Company for 36 years. He was a ham radio operator for over 50 years. His call was W9DQE. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.He is survived by his wife, Carol of Oshkosh.Private graveside services will be held.
