Charles Scott Nelson

Charles S. Nelson Sr., 51, of Menasha, is finally at rest after fighting with health conditions for over 20 years. He died Monday February 28, 2011 atCrestwood Senior Living-Century Oaks, Menasha. He was born June 23, 1959 in Oshkosh a son of the late James R. Sr. and Marie Payne Nelson. Charles is survived by his children Charles Nelson Jr., Angela Schuhart, Joshua Nelson, Justin (Dawn) Nelson, and Nicole (fianc Travis) Nelson; brothers and sisters, John (Donna) Nelson, Michael A. (Anne) Nelson, Ruth P. (Robert) James, Randy H. Nelson, and Debra (William) Niebuhr; a brother-in-law Ron Rucks; a step-mother Martha Nelson; a step-sister Constance Kowalske; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters James R. Nelson Jr., William W. Nelson, Cathy Rucks, and Christy S. Nelson. A memorial service for Charles will be held Friday March 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside. Visitation will be on Friday at the Lake Pointe Dr. funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
