Charlie William Radtke

Charles Chuck William Radtke, 75, of Oshkosh, died October 29, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1940 the son of the late Elmer and Emma (DeRoche) Radtke. Chuck married Sue Pongratz on May 12, 1962. She preceded him in death in 2000. He then married Susan Franta on September 11, 2004.Chuck was a Treatment Director at the Wisconsin Resource Center after many years at Winnebago Mental Health Institute. He was a 38 year member of Ridgeway Country Club, an avid golfer and member of Mens Club in Winneconne and a member of Ducks Unlimited. In his younger years Chuck had a part time job at the Oshkosh Rec Department and enjoyed many sports, including playing football for UW Oshkosh.Chuck is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Scott (Cathi Walker)Radtke; daughter, Tori (fianc Jeremy Headington) Lain; grandchildren, Suzette Lain and Isabella Flatley; brother Robert (Muriel) Radtke; nephews, Rick Radtke and Tom Radtke; niece, Pam Quackenbush; and best friend since Kindergarten, John (Sandy) Buser.Chuck was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue, his parents, and his mother-in-law, Erna Callaway.Funeral services for Chuck will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Doug LeCaptain officiating. Friends and family may visit at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2015 and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.The family would like to thank the staff in the Mercy Medical Center Emergency Room, the Intensive care Unit and Patient Care Unit 1. Also, a thank you to Affinity Hospice and Fr. Doug LeCaptain. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established
