Charmaine M. Caldwell

Charmaine “Sherry” M. Caldwell, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh WI. She was born on April 22, 1940, in Oshkosh, to the late Harold Parsons Jr and Mabel (Schultz) O’Conner.

Sherry enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and frequenting local restaurants. She loved live theatre, both performing and when the time came watching her grandchildren perform. Sherry enjoyed music from a variety of artists including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Tom Jones. She would love to sing in the car whenever she would take long drives.

When Sherry was younger, one of her first jobs was a server at Ardy & Eds and you can find her photo on the wall still today. Not long after Sherry worked in Healthcare & Social Services up until retirement.

Sherry is survived by her daughters: Cindy (Elias) Shamieh, Gina Caldwell, Peggy Caldwell; grandchildren: Zach Caldwell, Alex Ambrowiak, Michaellena Ambrowiak, Camie Dittmann; and brother, Gary Parsons. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Parsons Jr.; mother, Mabel O’Conner; and brother, Ronald (Juanita) Parsons.

A funeral service for Sherry will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 402 Waugoo Avenue, Oshkosh. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park immediately following the service.
