Christie R. Bathke, 57, of Oshkosh died on Monday, May 31, 2010 at her home. She was born on April 14, 1953 in Oshkosh the daughter of Harold and Carol Barter. Christie loved spending time at the pool with family and friends, enjoyed biking and roller-skating and became a loving caretaker for her parents. She loved to shop and hated to cook. Survivors include her sons, Jason (Michelle) Bathke of Oshkosh, Jeff (Rebecca) Bathke of Seattle, WA; her parents, Harold and Carol Barter of Oshkosh; brother, David Barter of Oshkosh; sister, Aimee (Jerry) Hannan of Winneconne, grandchildren, Derek Bathke and Logan Lang; uncles, Mark (Jean) Felker of Oshkosh, Larry (Kathy) Barter of Milwaukee; aunts, Ruth Ann Elliott of Oshkosh, Amy Wiley of Neenah, Leah Halstead of Sussex, Eleanor Barter and MaryAnn Barter; ex husband, Duane (Sheryl) Bathke of Oshkosh; niece, Sara Cartwright of Larsen; nephews, Christopher (Cindy) Barter of Omro, and Michael Cartwright of Waukesha. Christie is also survived by other cousins, relatives and friends.Christie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Doris and Edward Felker and her aunt, Judy Felker.The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 6:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside) with Chaplain Vicki Marxen officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
