Christine J. Fredrick, 12, of Oshkosh, died Monday January 25, 2010 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Oshkosh on June 10, 1997 the daughter of Jerry E. and Jackie J. Fell Fredrick. Christine was in the 7th grade at the Merrill Middle School. She loved nature and photography, but also enjoyed animals, cooking, the Packers, fishing, rock collecting, camping, music (especially playing the drums), cross country running, dancing, and gymnastics. She was especially fond on her church and school. She collected, Webkinz; Build-a-Bear; American Girl; and Barbies. She had a great sense of humor and was a caring, loving, sweet and giving person.She is survived by her father, Jerry Fredrick; her mother, Jackie Fredrick both of Oshkosh; brothers, Nick and Cody Fredrick of Oshkosh; grandparents, William (Ernie) Fredrick of New Mexico; Suzanne Fredrick of Green Bay; and Faith Fell of Oshkosh; uncles, Phil Fredrick (Godfather) of Green Bay; Ken (Mary Fry) Fell of Oshkosh; David (Betty) Fell of Chicago; aunt, Nancy (Loren) Herrick of Woodruff, WI; cousins, Nicole Fell (Godmother) of Oshkosh; Jeremy Fell of Oshkosh; Ryan, Julia, and Elyse Fell of Chicago; her special friend, Karen Krentz of Oshkosh; her cat, Meeko; and her dog, Max. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Fell and her uncle Dennis Fredrick.A memorial service for Christine will be held on Wednesday January 27, 2010 at 5:00 PM at the Community Church on Ryf Road in Oshkosh with Revs. Alan Cleveland and Wyatt Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 3:30 PM until the time of the service. The family wishes to express our thanks to Dr. Susan Szabo for her excellent care; teachers, and staff at Merrill Middle School; Ronald McDonald House in Madison; UW Childrens Hospital, Mayo Clinic, the Hospice nurses, Tami, Paula, Christine; Patsy Beck; special friends at Subacute and Mercy Medical Center; special friend, Hunter Resop; WMHI; neighbors; Delta Restaurant; and for all the prayers and support from the churches of Oshkosh.In lieu of flowers memorials gratefully accepted.
