Christopher Doc Holladay, 48, of Omro, died unexpectedly on Friday October 25, 2013 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay. He was born on August 24, 1965 in Oshkosh the son of Edward and Judith (Robertson) Holladay. On October 2, 1999 he married his soul mate Billie Deisinger in Medina, Wisconsin.Chris worked at Bemis Speciality Films. He was an accomplished outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending his bird feeders and observing the wildlife who frequented his property. Chris was also a passionate Boston Red Sox fan, a talented cook, but most of all, he was the consummate loving and caring husband and father.Christopher is survived by his wife Billie, two sons Bradley and Nolan, parents Edward and Judith Holladay, one brother Kevin Holladay of Oshkosh, one sister Rebecca(Brent) Gibbs of Tampa, FL, cousins Kerry Karcz of Clinton, Illinois, Kathy Thomas of San Diego, Linda Rosoff of Los Angeles, and Fred Eckrosh Jr. of Portland, Oregon, his nieces and nephews Adam Holladay, Andrea Bachman, Aaron Gibbs, Andrew Gibbs and Sawyer Niquette, his uncles and aunts, Karen and Dale Seiler, and Gabe and Marcia Egeland of Sturgeon Bay, Eva Garrett Eckrosh of Portland, Or., a sister-in-law Chariti Niquette of Markesan, great nieces and great-nephews, his father-in-law Allen Dambruch of New Berlin, and very special friends Marshall Piotter, Cindy Piotter(deceased) , Paul Bednarek, Steve and Barb Ravy and his feline family. Chris was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Arden and Margaret Robertson and Wadsworth Dey Holladay and Rita Belle Egeland. A celebration of life will be held on Friday November 1, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside with Rev. Martin Ruge officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Omro Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
