Claude Marion Worden

Claude M. Worden, 59, of Oshkosh, died of cancer at Mercy Medical Center on Saturday, January 7, 2006. Claude was born into life on June 28, 1946 the son Marion Budd and Gwendolyn Bump Worden. He married Tralene Venne on July 20, 1979 in Ashland, WIMr. Worden was employed at Block Iron for nineteen years; he was a Vietnam Army veteran, a carpenter, handyman, great outdoorsman and champion campfire starter. Survivors include his wife and soul mate, Tralene of Oshkosh; three children, Leslie, Skip and Tammy; three stepsons, Dean, Troy and Todd Johnston, his father, Budd Worden of Fond du Lac; sister, Sandy of Fond du Lac and Verlene of Racine. He was also survived by his mother-in-law, June Venne. He was a loving brother-in-law of the Venne family. A loving grandpa and will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Trevor, Chelcie, Keegan, Gracie, Julian and Amber. Claudes extended family includes his fun-loving friends, nieces, nephews and his companion dog, Baxter. He was preceded in death by sister, Helen.A memorial service will be on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 1:30 PM at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 340 Bowen St. with the Rev. Marvin Ahlborn officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 1:00 PM to the time of service. In Lieu of flowers a memorial to the family is appreciated.
