Claude Ray Stadler

Claude R. Stadler, 82, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday September 8, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on February 27, 1927 a son of Joseph and Ida Ziebell Stadler. On May 23, 1949 he married Charlotte Davidson in Oshkosh. They have celebrated sixty years of marriage.Claude had been employed by Schneider Standard Service and by Mercury Marine from which he retired. He had been an avid stock car racer, enjoyed wood-working and loved gambling. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Stadler; sons, Dennis (Chris) Stadler, Dean (Lori) Stadler, and Donald (Terry) Stadler; daughter, Claudia (Donald) Fenrich all of Oshkosh; seven grandchildren, Heidi Hurst, Heather Springer, Amanda Fenrich, Alyson Fenrich, Karly Stadler, Travis Stadler, and Cody Stadler; six great grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Disterhaft of Ripon, WI; brothers, Harold Stadler and Roger Stadler both of Oshkosh. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Bonnie Jean.Private family services will be held. A memorial has been established in Claudes name to your favorite charity.
