Clifford Kip Osen, 58, of Oshkosh, passed away June 16, 2007 in Oshkosh. Cliff was born December 15, 1948 in Green Bay to Clifford and Geraldine (Guerin) Osen. Cliff was a 1967 graduate of Green Bay East High School; he also graduated from the University of Colorado, where he received a degree in Architecture in 1974. Cliff worked in Oshkosh as an architect for C.R. Meyer, his own business Architechnology, First Mountain Mortgage, and for the last ten years the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the Facilities Dept. Cliff enjoyed model cars, planes, and trains. He also enjoyed studying the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. When August came each year until the NFL Pro Bowl, he would watch his Alma Mater the Colorado Buffaloes, along with the Green Bay Packers at the game or on TV. Cliff also loved playing anything by Frank Sinatra, his favorite tune by Frank was My Way. He also took up bowling, a sport that he saw others do on Friday nights as a child growing up. He liked to travel with his friends, make them laugh, and grace them with his kind words. He was loved by many and will surely be missed.Survivors include his son, 1st Lt. Derek N. Osen, an Airborne Ranger in the 82nd Airborne Division currently serving in Iraq, and his sisters Elisabeth Rose and Deborah Govier. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, his old friend Catherine, and many other loyal friends.He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Meredith Mayfield.A visitation will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-East on Saturday June 23, 2007 from 1-3 p.m. with a memorial service at 3 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Screwballs Pub in Oshkosh at 4 p.m. to celebrate Cliffs life.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.A special thank you to Edie May, a dear friend of Cliffs, who was with him in the last few days before he left for another adventure. Also, thank you to the doctors and staff at Aurora Medical Center.
