Clyde Allen Czarnecki Jr., of Oshkosh WI, died Thursday, February 28, 2019 in Oshkosh. He was born in Milwaukee on February 26, 1959, a son to Clyde Czarnecki Sr. and Lucille (Petts) Czarnecki-Meisenhelder. Clyde was raised in Alaska and Antigo, WI and graduated from Antigo High School in 1978. He joined the United States Army in 1978 and was honorably discharged in 1992. Clyde was currently employed as a Corrections Officer at the Oshkosh Correctional Institution. Clyde enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping.
Survivors include a son, Garrett, of Carlisle, Iowa and a daughter, Crystal (Chris) Chapman and their son Dashel, Ankeny, Iowa and their mother, Jean Czarnecki, also of Ankeny, Iowa. He is further survived by a son, Leighton, from his first marriage. Also surviving are his mother Lucille (Petts) Czarnecki-Meisenhelder, Dale, and father, Clyde Czarnecki Sr., Dale. Three brothers, Eric (Amy) Czarnecki, New London; Dane Czarnecki, Little Chute; Jason (Jodie) Czarnecki, Green Bay. Also, aunts and uncles and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Czarnecki; step-father Harold Meisenhelder Sr.; and his beloved dog Buster.
