Colin J. Henning, passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2024, in his hometown of Oshkosh, WI at the age of 24. He was born on August 16, 1999, to his parents Denise Henning and Willie Barnes.
From a young age, he developed a love for computer games and video games, often spending hours immersed in virtual worlds. His talent and enthusiasm for technology led him to rebuild his own computer, showcasing his commitment to mastering and pushing boundaries in the digital realm.
Socializing with his friends, Tyler, Ryan, and Caleb, was a source of great happiness for Colin. One special occasion took them to California, where they attended the anime Comi-Con.
Colin enjoyed being at home where he could spend time with his family as well as his cat, Stir-fry.
Colin is survived by his parents, Willie (Heather) Barnes and Denise (Jason Mueller) Henning, siblings, Michael Rowe-Mueller, Teesa Wallin, Kyle Barnes, Bryce Barnes; grandmas, Diann Henning and Barbara Coles; great-grandma, Marilyn Henning; Aunts, Nickie (Scott) Esselman and Lorie Mueller, cousins Anyssa (Jake) Whitty, and Brett Peters and the 4 Little’s; nephew, Jaxon; as well as his friends, Tyler, Ryan and Caleb; and many aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Colin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon Henning Jr., Joan Williams, and Ron Miller.
A service for Colin will be held at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside (100 Lake Pointe Dr) on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 6PM. A visitation will be held from 4PM until the time of service.
