Connie J. Boelter, 56, of Appleton, died Wednesday November 15, 2006 at her home. She was born January 26, 1950 in Antigo, the daughter of Emmett and Helen (Steffek) Strube. She was employed by Wolf River Community Bank in Hortonville and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending family functions, rummage sales and sewing. She volunteered for the United Fund in Hortonville, Relay for Life and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. She also spent many weekends with her mother in Antigo. She is survived by one son Michael(special friend Anita) Boelter of Hortonville, two daughters Dawn(Doug) Gunderson of Appleton, Lynn(Jay) Kolling of New London, her mother Helen Strube of Antigo, three brothers Gary(Diane) Strube of Hortonville, Jim(Gail) Strube of Darboy, Ron(Barb) Strube of Eau Claire, two sisters Marilyn Rueger of Oshkosh, Joanne(Dale) Braunel of Mosinee, nine grandchildren Justin, Max, Lindsey, Alev, Thomas, Taylor, Mitcheal, Alex and Alyssa, nieces and nephews, many dear friends and her childrens paternal grandfather Harold Boelter. She was preceded in death by her son Tom, her father Emmett and her childrens paternal grandmother Margaret Boelter. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday November 22, 2006 at 12 pm at St. Marys Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Greenville. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 21, 2006 from 4-8pm at Borchardt-Moder Funeral Home (109 W. Main St. Hortonville, Wi.) with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery-Greenville.A memorial has been established at Wolf River Community Bank in Hortonville, WI. There has also been a Family Memorial established for Connie Strube Boelter at the Banner Bank in Antigo, WI.Mom, well miss you but your love will be with us always and will carry us through.WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA!!!Jesus said to her, I am the resurection and the life.
