Corey Allan Whitty

Corey A. Whitty, age 34, of Oshkosh passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023.

Corey was born on January 9th, 1989 to Mark P. Whitty Jr. and Jennifer J. Whitty, both of Oshkosh. He graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 2007. You could always count on finding Corey under a car’s hood, making home improvements for others, or getting sunburned somewhere on a roof. He was a proud Father to his two sons, Rhonan (7) and Dawson (3), and stepsons, Mayson (12) and Braydon (14), with Lisa M. King of Oshkosh. Corey will be remembered for his hardworking personality, intense love for music and guitar playing, and silly, class-clown tendencies. He loved to have a good time with family and friends and make everyone laugh.

Corey is survived by his sons/stepsons, Braydon, Mayson, Rhonan, and Dawson; The Mother of his children, Lisa King; His parents Mark (Sherry) Whitty Jr. and Jennifer Whitty, along with Tammie (Mathias) Whitty; Grandparents, Mark, and Chris Whitty Sr; Sisters, Amanda Whitty, and Tiffany (Richard) Schreiber; Brother, Jacob (Anyssa) Whitty; 10 nieces and nephews; and many special cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Russell, and Maxine Reinke; Grandma, Alice Krueger; and Grandpa, Robert Mathias.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Mom, Tammie (Mathias) Whitty for extending your loving arms and attentive care to Corey, who always verbalized how much he appreciated your relationship.

Funeral services will be held privately for family members.
