Curtis W. Schultz

Curtis W. Schultz, age 74, passed away on March 28, 2016 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. He was born on July 1, 1941 in Oshkosh, the son of the late Elmer and Ila (Koats) Schultz. Curt graduated in 1958 from Oshkosh High School. He was united in marriage on November 13, 1965 to Carla Hoffman in Oshkosh. Their marriage was blessed with two children. Curt was a service director for Chevrolet Motor Division, Hall Chevrolet, Selig Ford and later Pommerening Chevrolet. In 1973 he started at Mercury High Performance. Curt began building engines and moved up to pricing and material manager before he retired in 2005. He was an avid fisherman and member of the Pro-Anglers Fishing Club of Oshkosh. After retirement Curt continued to fish and enjoyed many trips up north, he also enjoyed refining his culinary skills. He is survived by his wife, Carla of 50 years, one son, Eric and his son, Bennett of Little Chute; one daughter, Stephanie (Brian) Meixl and their sons, Landin and Brady of Appleton; one sister, Ilene (Dennis) Carew, one brother-in-law, Paul Hoffman. He is further survived by two nieces, one nephew and their children. Curt was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law, Earl and Jeanette Hoffman.Memorial service will be at 4:00 pm on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service. Private entombment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park.The family would like to extend their gratitude to Cherry Meadows for their excellent and compassionate care for him and his family members.
