Cynthia Lowe-Phillips

May 26, 1967 — January 21, 2025

Cynthia Sue Lowe-Phillips faded from this life on January 21, 2025, after a yearlong battle with Bile Duct Cancer, not so kindly named Cyrus. She requested that nobody write a sad story upon her leaving us, so we made a list of the highlights, approved by her of course.

Cindy Sue was born to her generous parents Jack and Carolyn Sue Lowe on May 26th, 1967. Her childhood was spent mucking stalls, showing horses and causing mayhem with her siblings John, Julie and Crystal Lowe (who she loved dearly, even if she didn't show it at first). Her young adult life was spent being a devoted mother to her children Jacque Eugene Worden and Cody Sue Boelke. From them she had the privilege to become a doting Nana to Jake David (George), Hannah, Jaxon and Aidan. Along with being a mother-in-law to Trent Boelke (not so secretly her favorite child) and Heidi Krause. She could often be found in the stands of whatever game her grandbabies were playing in, cheering them on.

After her children had grown, fate brought Cindy Sue her life mate, Donald Gerald Phillips. With him came his children, Samantha and Stephen, and grandchildren Reagan, Donovin, Connor, Seamus, and Sydney. Together they spent their time visiting the ocean as much as possible, caring for the elderly, spoiling their four-legged fur babies and making memories. She spent the rest of her time loving him, watching sports and enjoying a good book.

Though leaving us too early was not her choice, Cindy Sue cherished the hope that she would be reconnected with her beloved Grannie and Poppie, aunts and uncles, grandson Seamus, other friends and family to go before her, and all the fur babies she loved in her lifetime.

A special recognition to all the medical teams involved in Cindy Sue's care, who we thank for giving us each precious moment. And to Liz, for always keeping her nails sparkly.

Per Cindy Sue's request, there will be no services. She didn't want there to be a party she couldn't attend. If you wish to give in her memory, she would love if you would please find a local shelter or rescue that helps kitties in need.
