Daniel F. Wojciechowski, age 75 of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was born to Stanley and Cecilia (Strachan) Wojciechowski on April 5, 1945 in Milwaukee. Dan drove truck for a few local companies until his retirement in 2005. At a young age, his sons always enjoyed a chance to go on a delivery with Dad in the semi.
Dan loved outdoor activities such as walking his beloved dog, going up north hunting and berry picking. He also enjoyed cooking, finding a deal at the grocery store, cutting down trees with his chainsaw, working the Stadium meat raffle, visiting his local watering holes, and making a trip to Henning Cheese to get cheese for friends and family. His cheese trips led to his grandchildren referring to him affectionately as Grandpa Cheese.
Dan is survived by three sons; Jack (Stacy) Clark, Paul (Karen) and Joel (Jennifer) Wojciechowski, three brothers; Edward, David, and Wayne Wojciechowski, one sister; Marianne (Jim) Ronson, six grandchildren; Ashley and Brittany Clark, Ivan and Meeka Wojciechowski, and Levi and Milo Wojciechowski. Dan is further survived by his former spouse, Kathryn Beck. Dan’s furry four-legged friend, Bella, will remain with family. Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lenny, Gary, and Ted for checking on Dan’s well-being this past Sunday.
A private graveside service will be held. A memorial has been established.
