Darlene Ann Faust

Darlene A. Faust, 82, Oshkosh, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1935, in Big Stone, South Dakota, the daughter of Emil and Elsie (Wartenbee) Korth. On June 9, 1956, Darlene married LeRoy Faust, and he preceded her in death on August 8, 1988. Darlene was employed by Morgan Doors until her retirement. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Oshkosh, and was a former volunteer with the neighborhood center, providing food for those who needed a meal. Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially up north on the lake in Three Lakes.

Darlene is survived by her two daughters, Deborah (Steve) Slaets and Sandy Diehl; grandchildren: Selene, Tony, and Derek; a sister, Betty Covill; brothers: Irvin (Deanna) and Joe (Eileen) Korth; her beloved cat, Rocky.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bob Korth.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh, with Rev. Timothy Greenwald officiating. Interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Oshkosh. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service. A memorial is being established in Darlene’s name.
