Daryl M. Krause

Daryl M. Krause, age 74, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on September 13, 2024, at Ascension Mercy Hospital to be with Jesus with his family by his side after complications with covid.

Daryl was born on October 10, 1949, to Orville and Betty (Baxter) Krause in Oshkosh, WI. He was proud to have served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Daryl married Mary Rumlow on May 23, 1981. He was a truck driver for many years until, he retired in 2006. One of Daryl's greatest joys was having family over and seeing his grandchildren. In his younger years he liked to go camping, ride his motorcycle, swimming, boating and water skiing.

He was a member of Martin Luther Church.

Daryl is survived by his wife, Mary Krause; Daughter, Jacquelyn Krause-Allen (Adam) of California and 8 children. Son, Jamie (Melissa) Krause of Oshkosh. Daughter, Angela (Kyle) Kunsman of Arcadia. Daughter, Tina Krause of Oshkosh and 3 children. Seven Grandchildren, Hailey Krause, Dante Krause, Emily Krause, Lizzie Krause, Brianna Kunsman, Abby Krause and Maddie Krause; His Sister Kathy (Rob) Deubler; Great grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Charlotte (Gary) Ratajczak; Sister-in-law, Donna (Phil) Staerkel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville (Betty) Krause; Brother, Butch Krause, Garrett Krause, His Twin David Krause; Sister, Karen Hill; Mother-in-law, Florence Rumlow; Father-in-law, Archie Rumlow; Sister-in-law, Shirley Rumlow.

He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. We would like to thank ascension for their efforts and compassion.

A memorial service for Daryl will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Martin Luther Church, 1526 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI 54901, with Pastor John Steinbrenner officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. An inurnment and 21-gun salute will take place at Lake View Memorial Park Oshkosh, WI.
