David Leonard Pollack, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 26, 2013. He was born on December 27, 1925 in Oshkosh a son of Leonard and Marie Pollack. He married Janet E. Wischow on September 17, 1955 and they celebrated 54 years together. He proudly served in the U. S. Navy during WWII serving in both the European and Pacific Theatres. He worked in various occupations, retiring from Wisconsin Petroleum Equipment. He truly enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time outdoors in Northers Wisconsin. He is survived by his sons Richard, James, and Gene all of Oshkosh, and John (Margie) and their daughters Megan and Rebecca of Greenville, WI. He is further survived by his brothers John of Neenah, Bernard (Sue) of Lansing, MI and his sister Barbara Norman of Iron River, MI and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Janet. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 30, 2012 at 4:00 pm at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Eastside) with the Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Burial will be in Brooks Cemetery.
