Della Deiullis

Della DeIuliis, 87, of Oshkosh, died on December 13, 2012 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh. Della was born on November 8, 1925 in Altoona, PA to Esau and Rasha Khoury, and spent her childhood in Atloona and Latrobe, PA. As a young adult, she moved to Washington, DC, and spent much of her adult life working for the Federal government. She worked first for the Department of the Navy, and then with the Peace Corps in its first years, as the office manager for the General Counsel of the Peace Corps. She also worked at Sidwell Friends School in Washington.She moved to Oshkosh in 1991, following her son and daughter-in-law, so that she could be close to her family. She served for many happy years as office manager of the Newman Center near UW Oshkosh. She is survived by her sister, Jacqueline, two brothers, Ron and John, her son, Chris, her daughter-in-law, Cindy, and her granddaughters, Andrea and Rasha. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., at the Bethel Home chapel, 225 N. Eagle Street, Oshkosh. The family is especially grateful to the staff of Bethel Home, who provided outstanding compassionate care for Della for over nine years.
