Delores D. Schroeder

Delores D. Schroeder, (nee Hafemann), age 99 of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. She was born on August 30, 1923 to the late Walter and Dorothy (Flack) Hafemann.

After completing high school, she was employed by the Oshkosh Northwestern. On June 8, 1945, she married Donald Schroeder in Hopewell, VA while he was stationed at Camp Lee, VA. After raising a family, she went back into the workforce and worked at Pluswood.

Delores was a faithful member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Main.

Delores is survived by her son, Richard (Karin) Schroeder; Daughters-in-law Brenda Schroeder and Laurie Murdock; grandchildren, David, Bradley, Leah, Thomas (Hayley), and Michael Schroeder; great-grandchildren, Penelope and Seren Schroeder. She is further survived by her cousins and husband’s nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Delores was preceded in death by her husband Donald Schroeder Sr., son Donald Schroeder Jr., and infant daughter Susan Kay Schroeder.

A graveside service for Delores will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh.
