Dolores Dee A. Kunde, age 81 of Oshkosh died at the Aurora Medical center in Oshkosh on Friday, November 26, 2010 with her family at her side. Dolores was born in Oshkosh, on February 18, 1929, a daughter of the late Adolph and Catherine Redmond Veith. She married Robert Kunde on July 3, 1947 in Milwaukee.After her marriage to Robert they lived in Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Hawaii and California while he served in the U.S. Navy. While in Hawaii she was a very active Navy wife and served as Treasurer of the Barbers Point Navy Wives club for two years.Dolores was devoted to family and friends throughout her life. She looked forward to going to Arizona and California for Thanksgiving and Christmas where she enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She was employed at Lockheed Missile and Space Division in Sunnyvale, CA for ten years and then with Schlage Electronics for fifteen years, retiring as personnel manager. After Roberts retirement they returned to Oshkosh. She was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association.Survivors include her husband, Robert of Oshkosh; two daughters, Colleen Parsons of Gilbert, AZ; Mary Pat (Steve) Drouin of Apple Valley, CA; one brother, William (Delores) Veith of Mountain Home, AR; one sister, June Veith of Oshkosh; four grandchildren, Tina (Tom) Bambury of Mesa, AZ; Robert McWilliams of San Diego, CA; Daryn (Justin) Dittemore of Apple Valley, CA; Kathryn Katie Drouin of Apple Valley, CA; five great grandchildren, twins Ashley and Amber Stavros; Kayleigh Dittemore; Bryanna Dittemore and Carley McWilliams; and two sisters-in-law, Alice Veith of Fond du Lac and Pam Veith of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kathleen Kunde; two brothers, Harold and Robert Veith; three sisters, Sr. Marjorie Veith O.P. Katherine Hutchinson and Carol Selwitschka.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Raphael Catholic Church (830 S. Westhaven Dr.) on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Noon with Rev. Douglas LeCaptain, celebrant. Family and friends may call at the church from 11:00 AM to the time of Mass. Private Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. Memorials to St. Raphael Catholic Church and Aurora Visiting Nurse Association Hospice have been established.
