Delores Margaret Catherine Bryant

Delores Margaret Catherine Bryant, age 86, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 with her family by her side at Century Oaks. She was born on April 15, 1927 to the late Roman and Anna (Macho) Dushenski. She was married to Jerome Bryant on October 22, 1949 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Oshkosh.Delores graduated from Oshkosh High School and worked at Parkview Health Center as an aid/helper. Delores loved being in her home and taking care of her yard and flowers. Her home was where she was the happiest and she was able to remain there until the last 5 months of her life until she became ill.She is survived by her husband, Jerome; son, Jeff (Sharon) Bryant; daughter, Pam (James) Curtis; grandchildren, Kelly Bryant and Lauren Bryant; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph, Edward, John, Harry, and William; and sisters, Teckla and Mary. Delores had a love for animals and will also be missed by her dog & faithful companion Mandy, and her cat Mittens. A funeral service for Delores will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish St. Peter Church (435 High Ave.). Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystinosis Foundation or to the Oshkosh Humane Society.The family would like to thank Joy and Kim Dushenski; nurse and friend Susan King, neighbors, Dennis, Stacy,Mary Ann, Mike and Carol. With their help and support Delores was able to remain in her home for as long as she did. Also the family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Heartland Hospice, Century Oaks, and Bethel Home for the love and compassion that they showed towards Delores.
