Dennis Alan Zillges

Dennis A. Zillges, 58, of the Oshkosh area, died peacefully at his home after a short illness, on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Dennis was born on April 19, 1952 in Oshkosh the son of Roger and Leona Stenson Zillges.He was a veteran of the Wisconsin National Guard, serving in Iraq with the 1157th Transportation Company. Dennis had worked at Chief Oshkosh Brewery and Zillges Trucking for a short time and then worked at Oshkosh Corp. for 32 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening and being in the outdoors. Dennis is survived by his son, Jason (Rebecca) Zillges of Greendale; daughter, Sarrah (Kris) Larson of Oshkosh; granddaughter, Hadley Zillges; mother, Leona Zillges of Oshkosh; sisters, Nancy (Gary) Drebus of Oshkosh, Jody (Jed) Martin of Dale; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Zillges and a brother, Duane Zillges. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 5:00 PM at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home (Westside). Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.Dennis was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
