Dennis D. Feryan

Dennis D. Feryan, age 80, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. He was born on June 4, 1935 in Milwaukee the son of the late Frank and Bernice (Kowalski) Feryan. On November 1, 1958 he married Sally Abplanalp at St. Mary Catholic Church in Waukesha. Dennis worked at the Milwaukee Road, and then went to serve his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. After his return he worked for Wauwatosa Fire Department. They then moved to Oshkosh to manage Mr. Steak Restaurant for 20 years. He then took a position with Rogge's Distributor and retired from there. Dennis loved to fish with his son, Anthony in Phillips and enjoyed playing cards.Dennis is survived by his wife, Sally of 56 years, one son, Anthony (Bonnie Wojahn), one sister, Frances Burns of Texas, one brother, James E. Feryan of Milwaukee, one brother-in-law, Richard (Barbara) Abplanalp, three sisters-in-law, Barbara Thompson, Jean and Peggy Abplanalp all of Waukesha. Dennis leaves many special friends, nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, Paul Sr. and Josephine Abplanalp, sisters-and brothers-in-law: Nancy (Richard) Kolanowski, Paul Abplanalp Jr., William Abplanalp.Memorial Service will take place at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, with Father Doug LeCaptain officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 9:30 until the time of service.
