Dennis Lee Baerwald

Dennis L. Baerwald, age 76, of Oshkosh, died at his residence on Friday August 24, 2012. He was born on April 20, 1936 in Oshkosh the son of Clarence and Bernice Marquardt Baerwald. On April 15, 1961 he married Marie Marsicek at St. Marys Catholic Church in Brillion, Wi. He graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1954. He served in the United States Army and worked for Kimberly Clark. He enjoyed motorcycling, traveling, working on old cars, walking, bicycling, and taking walks on the beach in Padre Island, Texas. He is survived by his wife Marie, two sons Brian(Christine) Baerwald, Bradley(Sueann) Baerwald, three daughters Renee(Mark) Marhefke, Denise(Todd) Kalbus, Michelle(Todd Wojciechowski), 12 grandchildren William, Nathan, Mellanie, Cody, Libbie Marhefke, Alex, Robert, Cory Kalbus, Justin Baerwald, Christopher, Catherine Baerwald, Jonah, Wojciechowski. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial mass for Dennis will be held on Wednesday August 29, 2012 at St. Jude the Apostle Parish-St. Vincent Church at 11 a.m. with Rev. Robert Marsieck and Rev. Matthew Simonar co-officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established. The family would like to thank Bruce and Roger Kimball, Carl and Donna Baker, Wayne Sterns, Lyle Voss, Ken and Joan Weichmann, Bill Polzin and the staffs at Bethel Home, Eden Meadows, Heartland Hospice and all the Doctors and nurses of Aurora Healthcare in Oshkosh and Green Bay.
