Dennis Lee McGraw, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2005. He was born on January 26, 1954, the son of William and Germaine (Esslinger) McGraw. A 1972 graduate from Oshkosh High School, Denny was a self-employed painter for the majority of his adult life – The Best Painter in the Valley! Denny loved music and was known for breaking into song at any given moment and in any location. A former Oshkosh Drum and Bugle Corps Baritone player, he was also active in the Choraliers and the choir at New Life Community Church, where he has attended for many years. He was an avid tennis player, enjoyed gardening, loved politics, the Packers and, most of all, his family. He is survived by his mother, Germaine McGraw, Oshkosh, WI, his brother, Rick (Dona) McGraw, Litchfield, IL, his brother, Charles (Darcy) McGraw, Oshkosh, WI, his sister, Kathy (Jim) Meisel. Uncle Denny is also survived by his dear nieces and nephews, Kelly and Chris Rates, Jenna, Mike and Christa McGraw, David and Jonathan McGraw, Debbie and Jamie Meisel, and Libby Graverson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William McGraw and grandparents, William and Emma McGraw and William and Elsie Esslinger. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 18, from 3:00-6:00pm at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 19, at 11:00am, with visitation from 10:00-11:00am, at New Life Community Church, 3250 W. Ninth Avenue, Oshkosh. A memoriam will be established. He will be remembered as a funny, tenderhearted, devoted and loyal friend to so many and will be dearly missed by his family, many friends and special customers.Denny – you are truly Unforgettable!
