Dennis Michael Kallas

Dennis “Denny” Michael Kallas at the age of 70, passed away in his sleep on April 13, 2023, in his home in Wautoma. Dennis was born on June 15,1952 in Berlin to Vernon and Doris (Barnes) Kallas. Dennis was stationed in Germany while serving in the United States Army from 1973-1979. After being honorably discharged, he obtained his CDL and worked in transport.

Dennis was a jack of all traits. So many things brought him happiness. He adored spending time with the love of his life “Mama Duck!” From Tractor Pulls, to catfishing, and gardening they were always attached at the hip. And let’s never forget all the stories & laughter he brought to every backyard bonfire.

Denny is survived by his children, Venus (Kelly), Jenny (Eric), Jillanne (Mike) and Monica (Sean). He is further survived by his grandchildren, Taylor, Kellie Marie, Brandon, Teresa, Brianna, Johnathan, Jaxon, JoHanna, Austin, McKayla, as well as many beautiful great grandchildren, nieces & nephews and his three siblings, Judy (Dennis), Darlene (Sam), Duke (Mary).

Dennis was greeted in heaven by his wife, Lois Kallas (Mama Duck), beautiful friend Leah, his parents, Vernon & Doris Kallas, his sons, Jason and Denny Mike Jr and brother David (Linda) Kallas.

Visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, 904 E. Main St. Winneconne, WI 54986 on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm with Military Honors to follow.
