Dennis R. Fletcher, 54, of Oshkosh, died at his home on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. Dennis was born in Greenfield, Iowa on May 7, 1952, a son of Kenneth and Shirley Fletcher. He married Diane Bean on June 21, 1975 in Oshkosh. Dennis received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from UW-Oshkosh in 1977. He was a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Investment Advisor. Dennis owned Fletcher Financial Network, where he provided advice in the areas of investments, securities and insurance planning for individuals and business since 1973. He was a founding member of the Winnebagoland Estate Planning Council. Dennis served as president of the Southwest Rotary Club of Oshkosh, 1985-1986, and participated in many fundraising activities. He played softball for the T. Ruck Electric/ West End Pizza team. Dennis also coached youth softball and baseball. He enjoyed having his pilots license; spending time boating on Lake Winnebago, skiing and snowboarding trips out west and listening to music. Dennis was a member of Algoma Blvd. United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Diane, Oshkosh; two daughters, Tara Fletcher, Appleton; Cassandra (fianc Jon Dorn) Fletcher, Oshkosh; one son, Justin Fletcher, Oshkosh; parents, Kenneth and Shirley Fletcher, Onalaska; two brothers, Michael (Tami) Fletcher, Oshkosh; Lee (Jill) Fletcher, Eau Claire; three sisters, Janet (Dick) Richardson, Huntsville, AL; Sandra Berman, Mequon; Diane (Geoff) Klos, Onalaska; a sister-in-law, Janet (Rob) Gaddis, Sun Prairie; a brother-in-law, Thomas (Deb) Bean, Oshkosh; his father and mother-in-law, Andrew and Jeanette Bean, Oshkosh; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at Algoma Blvd. United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Barry Yarbro officiating. Family and friends may call at the Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Westside on Thursday January 4, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday at the church from 10:00 AM to the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Aurora Hospice, the Southwest Rotary Club of Oshkosh and other family established memorials. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Aurora Hospice for their wonderful care and support as well as family and friends.
