Diana E. Kietzman, age 88, passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center on Friday, October 1, 2021. She was born to the late Henry and Gertrude (Elmer) Koch on June 28, 1933, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1951. She married the love of her life, Loren Kietzman, on June 2, 1956, at Saint Mark’s Lutheran Church in Dubuque, Iowa. Throughout her life Diana worked as a telephone operator as well as working at restaurants and supper clubs throughout Oshkosh, notably Red’s and Robbins. Diana enjoyed doing many things with her husband; she loved to go fishing with Loren, and especially loved cooking with him as well, sometimes for themselves or sometimes for a house full of guests. They also enjoyed traveling together, especially going to visit their cousins down in Florida. Loren and Diana were both members of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
Diana is survived by her loving husband, Loren; her twin sister, Dona McCabe; brother-in-law, Lloyd Lemke; sister-in-law, Bess Kietzman; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her four children, Daniel, Marie, John, and an infant; her sister-in-law, Betty Lemke; and her brother-in-law, Ralph Kietzman.
A service for Diana will be held at Martin Luther Church (1526 Algoma Blvd) on October 13th, 2021 at 11 AM. Pastor Tom Voss will be officiating the service. A visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Lake View Memorial Park following the service.
