Dolores Annis

Dolores J. Annis(nee Orsini) died Wednesday February 13, 2008 at Bethel Home. She was born March 18, 1931 the daughter of Lorenzo and Theresa Merolla Orsini. She lived in Providence, R.I. until her marriage to Ronald Annis on July 18, 1952. She moved to Wisconsin in 1952 to live with his family while he was serving in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.Dolores worked at Winnebago Mental Health Institute for over 25 years. She started as an RTC in 1970 and then became an AODA counselor on the Gemini Treatment Unit until her retirement in 1996.She is survived by her children, Bonnie Annis of Oshkosh, Ronald Annis of Oshkosh, Deborah Annis of Waconia, MN; grandson, Lorenzo Annis; adopted grandson, PVT Tyrone T.J. Newson-U.S. Army; her sisters, Gilda (Fred) Martinelli, Theresa Orsini; brothers, Lorenzo Orsini, Manfred Orsini. Further survived by her friends and former coworkers at Winnebago Mental Health Institute which the family would like to extend a special invitation to Doloress funeral to reminisce and share stories of Dolores.She was preceded in death by an infant son Steven Michael, six sisters, and two brothers.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 16, 2008 at 5 p.m. at Most Blesses Sacrament-St. Mary Site with Rev. William Van de Kreeke officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 3 p.m. until the time the Mass.Inurnment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.She will be dearly missed by her long time and special friends, Sally Guenther R.N. Carla Seaver, Phyllis Lockard-Hughes, Kathy Gibson, and Robert and Dee Gibson.
