Dolores H. Jakubowski, 81, of Oshkosh died Saturday December 10, 2011 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, Green Bay. She was born December 19, 1929 in the Town of Nepeuskun, Winnebago County, a daughter of the late William and Ella (Pigorsch) Schliepp. Dolores was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and retired from Wisconsin Bell after 33 years. She was a member of the Dairyland Council of the Telephone Company Pioneers of America. She loved traveling making it to all 50 states and was a former member of the Business Womens Club of Oshkosh. Her survivors include a daughter Connie (Allan) Pribnow of Port Wing, WI; two sisters Mariel Fink of Neenah and Shirley (Allan) Eckstein of Oshkosh; three grandsons Gregory (Kristine) Stumpner, Charles Jakubowski, and Thomas (Rebecca) Jakubowski; eight great-grandchildren; a very good friend Sharon Lenz; and many nieces, nephews, and other good friends. She was preceded in death by a son William Jakubowski, a sister Lorraine Johnson, and two step-brothers Delbert and Wesley Belter. A memorial service for Dolores will be held Thursday Dec. 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rev. Roger Erdman officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service. Inurnment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Auroraville. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established to Habitat for Humanity or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The family would like to mention a special thank you to Dr. Matt Fischer and his staff, the Aurora Medical Center ER and ICU, and the Aurora BayCare ICU for all there wonderful and compassionate care.
