Dolores I. Boynton (Hansen)

Dolores I. Boynton, 103, of Oshkosh died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation. She was born December 17, 1909 in Tigerton, WI a daughter of the late Paul and Augusta (Zooleger) Menzel. She married Harry Hansen and he preceded her in death. She then married Nathan Boynton and he preceded her in death.Dolores was a longtime member of St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church. She was an elementary teacher for many years in various districts, lastly being in Oshkosh School District at Washington School.Dolores is survived by a son, Peter J. (Kay) Hansen; nieces, Barbara (Ed) Rowe and Deborah Carls; great-nephew, Richard (Beth) Winkler; great-great-nephews, Miles and Xavier Winkler; and special family Lee H. and Teresa Winkler.A funeral service for Dolores will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside. Visitation will be held a half hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.Dolores family thanks the staff at Clarity Care for the special care given to Dolores.
