Dolores M. Mcninch

Dolores Mary McNinch, age 85, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully Friday, December 27, 2014.She was born on July 26, 1929, in Fond du Lac, WI the daughter of Peter and Julia (Gerhartz ) Goeser. She married Darwin Mac McNinch on July 21, 1951. Dolores lived at Carmel Residence for seven years. She particularly enjoyed her friendships with the other residents. She often was head saying, It is just like a family here. Dolores gave back to the Carmel community as chairman of the Program Committee for several years. She was active with the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and was a former Commander with the organization. She was fond of having a good time; whether it be live music, holiday celebrations, or lunch with the Red Had Society. Dolores knew no strangers and easily shared casual conversations with people who just happened to be around her.Dolores is survived by three children, Terance (Peggy) McNinch of Houghton MI; Barbara (Charles LaForge) McNinch of Soldotna, AK; and Patrick McNinch of Mequon, WI; four grandchildren, Jason McNinch of Chicago, IL; Ben McNinch of Craig, MT; Alhasha McLean of Seattle, WA; Tesla Lipke of Mequon, WI; and one great grandchild, Brayden Lipke of Mequon, WI; three sisters, Francis Manis of Chicago IL; Joan (Paul) Hanson of Port Washington, WI; and a brother Joseph Goeser of Oshkosh, WI, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Darwin Mac McNinch, and one sister and her husband Josephine (Donald) Barbeau. Visitation will be from 11 A.M. until the time of service at Noon on Wednesday, December, 31, 2014 at Konrad-Behlman funeral home, 100 Lake Pointe Drive, Oshkosh, WI. Father Michael Warden will be officiating. Inurnment for both Dolores and Mac will take place before the visitation at 9 A.M. at the Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Dolores requested that donations be made in her name to the Oshkosh Chapter 17 of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
