Donald Anthony Hirte

Donald A. Hirte, age 50, died Wednesday March 13, 2013 at his residence. He was born on October 23, 1962 in Oshkosh a son of Donald and Mary Ann Maslowski Hirte. In 1984 he married Karen Cleveland and together they had two children a son Ryan and a daughter Ashley.Don was employed by Oshkosh Coil and Spring as a press operator since 1996. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, kayaking, motorcycling, and biking. He enjoyed watching his daughters sporting events as well as his nephews activities. Don valued his family above all, and was a tremendous giver and receiver of love.He is survived by his daughter Ashley and her mother Karen Bartels, his parents Donald and Mary Ann Hirte, three brothers Daniel(Christine) Hirte, Douglas Hirte, John(Lynn) Hirte, one sister Anne(Paul) Mueller, a sister-in-law Jody Hirte, one aunt Mavis Kramer, many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his son Ryan, a brother David, his grandparents Walter and Eva Hirte, and two uncles.A memorial service for Donald will be held on Monday March 18, 2013 at 6 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church(1013 Minnesota St.) with Rev. Timothy Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.A memorial is being established for an education fund for Donalds daughter Ashley.
