Donald Clayton Freeman

Donald C. Freeman, 77, of Oshkosh died Sunday October 2, 2011 at Park View Health Center. He was born July 23, 1934 in Omro a son of Orville C. and Katherine (Buchhammer) Freeman. Don had worked at Rockwell International for 30 years before his retirement and was a member of First English Lutheran Church. He enjoyed farming, old western movies, and John Deere tractors. His greatest joy was time spent with his grandchildren. His survivors include two sons Jerry Freeman and Steven Freeman both of Oshkosh; two grandchildren Kayleen and Derek Freeman both of Oshkosh; two sisters Jeanette Jan Rieckman of Oshkosh and Dorothy Danielson of Milwaukee; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Orville, his mother Katherine Freeman-Ross, and step-father Nyle Ross. A memorial service for Don will be held Saturday October 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Home-Eastside, Rev. Tim Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Waugoo Ave. funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. A special Thank You is extended to the staff at Park View Health Center-Lakeside South for the great care given to Don.
