Donald Edwin Bandelow

Donald E. Bandelow, age 75, of Oshkosh, died Monday January 7, 2013 at Bethel Home. He was born on January 9, 1937 in Chicago a son of Edwin and Florence Wendt Bandelow. On January 8, 1966 he married Barbara Teichgraeber in Belleville IL.He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and enjoyed anything to do with airplanes. He had his private pilot license and enjoyed construction and building of remote control and model aircraft. He volunteered at EAA, was a fitness enthusiast, enjoyed tennis, fishing, and boating.He is survived by his wife, Barbara, one son Mathew, one daughter Traci(Fiance' Dan Gruse) Davis all of Oshkosh, two grandchildren Ryan Bandelow, Brayden Davis, two great-grandchildren Reagan and Damien Bandelow, one brother Robert(Ellen) Bandelow of OR., two sisters Carol(Greg) Tofeldt of Houston TX., and Anne Bandelow of CT.He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother James Bandelow.A memorial service for Don will be held on Friday January 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Roger Erdman officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.A memorial has been established.The family would like to thank Rev. Erdman, the staffs of ICU and 2West at Aurora Medical Center, Dr. Ammar Alzoubi, Dr. Steven Wilson.
