Donald John Brehm

Donald J. Brehm, age 80, of Oshkosh died at the Fond du Lac Health Care Center on Friday, January 2, 2008. He is predeceased by two sons Donald and Steven, his parents, a brother, and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Marge, two sons David of Altoona, WI and Jeffrey of St. Louis. MO, and four grandchildren. He served in the U. S. Army from 1952 – 1954. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and earned a Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He was employed by Human Service Agencies in Wisconsin, Upper Michigan, Iowa, Kansas, and Oklahoma over a period of 25 years. He later owned and operated the Valley Motel in Oshkosh until his retirement in 1985. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dog, Elsa. Friends are invited to a memorial service for Don at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church (370 Bowen St, Oshkosh) on Monday January 5, 2009 at 2:00 PM, Rev. Marvin Ahlborn officiating. Inurnment will be in Ellenwood Cemetery, at a later date. A memorial has been established.
