Donna J Kaufman

Donna J. Kaufman, age 94, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born to the late Otis and Naomi (Carlson) Perkins on March 31, 1928 in Manitowoc, WI.

Donna married Joseph Kaufman on October 18, 1947, in Manitowoc and they were together until his passing in 2005. Donna and Joe were lifetime fans of the Green Bay Packers; one of Donna’s most special memories was being with Joe at the Ice Bowl. Though she worked at various part time jobs throughout her life, Donna mainly spent her home life taking care of her home and three children. As she grew older, Donna enjoyed spending time at her local YMCA and loved seeing her friends she made at the Y. She also greatly enjoyed being with her friends and family and especially loved to going to lunch with them. Donna was a lifetime member at Algoma Methodist Church.

Donna is survived by her children, Jean (Dale) Eichman, Peter, and Joe (Connie) Kaufman; brother, Jack (Verna) Perkins; grandchildren, Nicole (Tony) Jarbey, Chris and Paul Kaufman, Erin (Josh) Dietz, Ryan (Kelly) Eichman, Kirk (Susie) Kaufman, Misty (Shane) Lampe, Michelle (Jason), Clarence (Amanda Price) Kaufman; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Martin.

A memorial service for donna will be held at Evergreen Retirement Community-Chapel (1130 N Westfield St) on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 12PM. A time of visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Evergreen in honor of Donna.
