Doris L. Alexander

Doris L. Alexander, 89 of Oshkosh, died at her home on Saturday October 14, 2006. She was born in Oshkosh on May 8, 1917 the daughter of Frank and Norma Rehbein Boeder. On May 24, 1941 she married Samuel Alexander in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2003.Doris was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Oshkosh and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She had been employed by the Prudential Life Insurance Co. She enjoyed playing cards, watching football (especially the Packers) and going out to eat.She is survived by two sons, Larry Alexander and Wayne (Bonnie) Alexander both of Oshkosh, seven grandchildren, Todd (Wendi) Alexander of Seattle, WA, Lori Alexander of Sun Prairie, WI, Kari Alexander of Sterling, IL, Jodi (Matt) VanderTuig, of MI, Jamie, Ashley and Courtney Alexander all of San Diego, CA, and three great grandchildren.A private family funeral service was held. Rev. Marvin Ahlborn officiated. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A memorial has been established to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
