On November 3rd surrounded by her children, the choir of Angels brought Doris the last of the Pollak siblings home to heaven!Doris May Christine Pollak Panske was born February 19, 1928 to Helen (Jungwirth) and Wenzel Pollak. Her eight brothers; Jack, Louie, Joseph, Leo, Rudolph, Victor, Richard, and baby, Edward; and her four sisters, Rose, Marie, Adella, and Lucille all preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by an unborn son, Christopher. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Donald Clausen; sisters-in-law, Ruth Pollack and Bernice Pollak-Gaylord. She leaves behind her four adoring children and their spouses, Tony, Mary (Donald) Curl, Paul, Angie (Dennis) McCarthy; five grandchildren, Melanie Curl, Amy (Frankie) Trifilio and Ethan Curl of Texas, Mandy (Joel) Rinne, and Megan (Wesley) Bowser; and six great-grandchildren, Isabella, Frankie III and Vincent Trifilio, Olivia Rinne, and Wyatt and Marshall Bowser. Doris is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is also survived by her longtime dear friend Lucy Fiefhaus and her constant companion McKaydee (Bootie). Additionally we would like to acknowledge special friends Joel and Marilynn Andelman and the Missionary grandsons.Doris spent her life serving and caring for others. She worked as a young woman at Heiss Bakery and CA Neuberger. She married Anthony Panske Sr. May 28, 1949. From that point on her dedication was to raising her children. After her children were raised she did mothering in her home to many children and families touching countless lives. Everyone who came in contact with her adored her!Her faith and love for God and the Blessed Virgin Mary were unparalleled. Doris enjoyed music and passed that love on to each one of her children. She also enjoyed cooking and loved canning for many years and passed those traditions on to her family as well.Visitation will be at Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes (Westside) from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2013 with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, November, 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St Judes Parish, St. Vincent Catholic Church (216 W. South Park Ave.), with visitation at the church from 9:00 until the time of the mass.A memorial has been established to the Day by Day Warming Shelter.God saved the best for last!
