Dorismae Emma Leinweber

Dorismae E. Leinweber, 87, of Oshkosh , died Saturday April 12, 2008 at Aurora Medical Center . She was born March 6, 1921 in Oshkosh a daughter of Louis Frederick and Otilia Emma Hoeft Wollangk. On May 31, 1947 she married Harry William Leinweber in Oshkosh . He preceded her in death on April 28, 1961 . She was a lifelong member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for 10 years, sang in the choir, was a member of the Womans Guild and Daughters of Sarah. During her lifetime she had worked at Oshkosh BGosh, South Park Junior High School , Shenars Restaurant, Robbins Restaurant and Wisconsin Bell, from where she retired in 1986 . In addition to her work she enjoyed volunteering at Bethel Home, Evergreen Retirement Community, church and Meals on Wheels. She loved to bowl, travel, sew, and walking with the Park Plaza Mallwalkers Club.She is survived by her son Donald Leinweber of Greenfield, WI , her daughter Diane Leinweber of Aliso Viejo, CA., three sister-in-laws Helen Wollangk, Geraldine Wollangk, Rhea Wollangk, and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers Gilbert, Robert, Elmer and one sister Lorraine Wollangk.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel United Church of Christ with Rev. R. David Gaskill officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be immediately following at Lake View Memorial Park .A memorial has been established.A thank you to the caregivers at Omro Care Center and Evergreeen Retirement Community and a very special thank you to Shelly Ingala for being her caregiver for the last several years and a dear family friend .
