Dorothy M. Kolaske

Dorothy M. Kolaske, 93 of Oshkosh, died Tuesday March 4, 2008 at Bethel Home. She was born in Oshkosh on September 20, 1914 the daughter of William Ben and Alma Traugott Farber. On April 26, 1941 she married Edward F. Kolaske in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1982.Dorothy was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She had been employed for forty years in the Drop Ship Dept. of Miles Kimball Co. She had attended the Oshkosh Senior Center when she was able, and enjoyed reading and cooking. She belonged to the Cousins Club. She felt that the most important part of her life was her family and the time they spent together.Dorothy is survived by her son, Michael (Deborah) Kolaske of Oshkosh; daughter, Patti (Lee) Nigl of Oshkosh; five grandchildren, Scott Nigl, Paul Nigl, Brian (Christine) Kolaske, Jeremy (Jennie) Kolaske, and Kristi Kolaske; and nine great grandchildren, Alex and Brianna Nigl, Brennan Pulver, Logan, Alyson, Kyra, Cody, Tyler and Dylan Kolaske. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Discher.Dorothys funeral will be Friday March 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Lidtke officiating. Entombment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions to the Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the staffs of Aurora Medical Center and Bethel Home 1 West for the special care that they gave to our mother.
